I am so glad the elections are over. I'm also glad that Obama went back in office. Like him or not, agree with him or not, he's a smart man with standards and character and wants what's best for the country. Whether he accomplishes that with the sorry old pricks that are in Congress is another thing. If it wasn't Obama then a dog catcher would be better than Romney-Ryan. I can't get into those sorry bastards now, don't want to stir up the nausea again.
SO. We are coming into another Winter. Here along the Gulf Coast it's mild. Beautiful days, cool to slightly cold nights and for now that's just great. There's a lot about Alabama that I don't like but it has the best climate of anyplace I've lived. People are friendly albeit a bit behind the times but all in all it's not bad.
Oh! BTW, in a previous post I said I would post a picture of my darling Sheba. Our rescue dog that is now 16 years old. I had lost a bunch of my pics but found this one. She's a bit more gray now but definitely my heart!
Is that gorgeous or what? LOL She is not overly crazy about the camera thing. The best watchdog ever. It's time for this year to end and another begin. Once you become a Senior Citizen the years sure go by faster. Something wrong with that I think. We should have more time. We need it.
Besides, I want a Do-Over. I've had an understanding with our God of Heaven for many years now. He understands me and puts up with me. I try to do what he wanted his Humans to do in the first place. We don't always do that and the Planet is suffering for it.
I haven't had a chance to be all I could be, do all I could do and help all I could help. Sounds like a first class cop out doesn't it. It is. All I had to do was not try to satisfy and please everyone else. I should have had a little more selfish side in me. Even my Mom said I didn't have selfish bone in my body and if I asked for little I'd get nothing. She was right. And, as it turns out, all those people I tried so hard to please and to satisfy? They were the first to turn against me.
So, screw 'em.
And, as is the usual around here, interruptions abound and someone else needs coffee. I could let the manic side of me take over and let chips fall but then........nah, court proceedings are long and drawn out and not always fair. (hehehehehe)
I shall return another time.
